FP&A Director
Location: New York, NY
Job Description:
CFS of New York is working with a leading non-profit organization that is seeking an Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to join their team.
About the Opportunity and Organization
- Extremely stable non-profit organization with operating budget over $100M
- Mission focuses on community, education, family support and health
Responsibilities of the FP&A Director:
- Working with Program directors on budgets and providing analysis on financial health
- supervising a team of 2 overseeing monthly, quarterly, annual reports
- Internal and External reporting responsibilities including budget vs. actual, grant reporting, board deck preparation, forecasting, variance analysis.
- Budget development, budget modifications
- Review and monitor all funding sources along with operating / non-operating expenditures.
Experience Preferred of the FP&A Director:
- 4+ years of FP&A Experience, ideally in nonprofit
- CPA preferred or MBA
- Advanced Excel application skills
- Ability to work independently, detail-oriented and excellent written and verbal communication skills
